Step 6. Choose a Key
All files saved in NoteHere server are encrypted using your own Key.
Similar to a password, a Key is a string of letters and digits.
The encryption process mixes your Key with the file content to make it unreadable.
If an encryption key has not been entered, you will be prompted for a new one.
- Choose strong keys.
- Remember your keys. Encrypted files cannot be opened or recovered if you forget it.
After the key is entered, click OK
. The file will be saved to your NoteHere account.
